Bodies Measuring

In this lesson moment, students are asked to put the cylinders in the basket in an ascending order, from left to right, depending on their height. After that, using as standard the minimum height, they have to estimate the heights of the other cylinders depending on this standard. Using the ruler, students will determine, in centimetres, the heights of the cylinders. ISCED Level: 2, 3

Order of Bodies

In this interactive moment, students are asked to order several cylinders with different diameters and choose them from a basket, holding in estimation the ascending order. They will also have to put in a descending order the spheres with different diameters and in an ascending order, the cones with different heights. ISCED Level: 2, 3

This interactive moment presents an educational game that proposes a classification of different objects by colour, shape and material. Students are asked to form classes of objects according to the requested specifications. ISCED Level: 2, 3

Muscular System

The students are asked to identify the muscles that determine the body of a mammal to move. If a student clicks on a muscle, an animation with a specific body movement is started. ISCED Level: 1, 2, 3

Internal Structure of the Dicot Stem

The students simulate an experiment in which they cut a piece from the stem of a sunflower and analyses it under the microscope. After placing the slide in the right spot and adjusting the microscope lenses, the students will discover the internal structure of the stem. ISCED Level: 1, 2, 3
